Jostens Lifetime Limited Warranty
The following services will be performed for the original owner of Jostens rings:
Your Jostens ring may be resized at any time free of charge (if in resizable condition).
Jostens will restore the original finish on your jewelry free of charge.
Jostens will replace damaged simulated birthstones free of charge (other genuine stones and diamonds are not covered).
Any defect in materials or workmanship that are present at the tiem of the original delivery will be repaired or, at Jostens discretion, replaced with the current design without charge.
If, through normal wear, your ring becomes worn beyond satisfaction, it will be exchanged for a ring of current design at Jostens current remake charge. Call 1-800-854-7464 for a quote.
The gold reclamation value of your Jostens 10K, 14K or 18K gold jewelry may be used as a credit toward the purchase of another Jostens jewelry item at any time. The credit will be based on the current world gold price at the time of purchase of your new Jostens jewelry.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF JOSTENS CANNOT DISCLAIM OR EXCLUDE IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THEN TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE ANY CLAIMS UNDER ANY SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES SHALL EXPIRE ON EXPIRATION OF THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS,SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
This warranty is void if your Jostens jewelry is repaired by anyone other than Jostens.
To preserve the beauty and luster of your jewelry, wash in a mild detergent in lukewarm water and rinse. Then, dry with a soft, clean cloth. Do not use any type of brush, sharp instrument or rough cloth for cleaning.
To protect your jewelry from permanent damage, avoid any contact with mercury. The effect of mercury and harsh acids on silver and gold is severe and permanent. Be sure to remove your jewelry before coming into contact with such harmful agents.
To safeguard against damage, and personal injury, always remove your jewelry before engaging in sports or in heavy labor. Quality stones and precious metal will not stand abuse.
You are responsible for delivery of the ring to the Jostens Warranty Service Center or authorized Jostens representative.
Except as otherwise provided in writing, Jostens assumes no responsibility for and makes no warranty, expressed or implied, of the quality or merchantability of it products or that such products will be fit for any particular purpose for which the customer may buy them. There are no warranties which extend beyond the face hereof. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Rings needing repairs should be returned to your Jostens Sales Representative or sent to the address below.
