Jostens Yearbook Protection Plan™ Information

Protection Plan Terms and Conditions:

By purchasing Jostens Yearbook Protection Plan™ (the "Plan"), Jostens will provide you with a one-time replacement yearbook if your original yearbook is lost, stolen, or damaged for any reason within the lifetime of the student for whom the yearbook is purchased. At the time of ordering your reprinted yearbook, you will be required to pay a reprinting charge, plus shipping and handling charges and any applicable sales tax.

Although the content of your reprinted yearbook will be substantially the same as your original yearbook, Jostensí reprinting process may cause your reprinted yearbook (including the cover) to differ slightly from the original. These differences include, without limitation, paper quality, color, material, texture and content. In addition, Jostens may not be able to reproduce certain items from your original yearbook including, without limitation, your name and any icons on your cover as well as any personalized yearbook pages and any other form of personalized content.

Jostens reserves the right to refuse to reprint your yearbook for any reason including our determination that your yearbook contains material which may reasonably be believed to violate patent, trademark, copyright, license or other proprietary rights or which may contain pornographic or offensive material, provided that Jostens assumes no duty to make such determination.

Warranty and Limitation of Liability. Jostens will perform the work in a good and workmanlike manner. Except as expressly provided herein, Jostens makes no other express or implied warranties and disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will Jostens be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages including, without limitation, lost profits or business interruption, however foreseeable, arising out of this agreement, the work performed hereunder, the services provided or contemplated hereunder. While Jostens will make reasonable attempts to provide you with your reprinted yearbook, there is no assurance the yearbook will be entirely accurate or complete. Jostens shall not be liable for any reprinting-related errors including any failure to accurately or completely reprint your yearbook. Additionally, circumstances could arise which make it impossible or improbable for Jostens to provide you with a reprinted yearbook. In the event that Jostens is unable to reprint your yearbook for any reason, Jostensí sole responsibility to you will be to refund the price you paid for the plan. Because some states or countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such states, Jostensí liability is limited and warranties are excluded to the greatest extent permitted by law, but shall, in no event, exceed the price you paid for the plan.

In the event that your yearbook is lost, stolen, or damaged during the coverage period, please notify Jostens via email or by phone (1-877-767-5217, ext. 4 (8 am - 5 pm CST M-F) to start the replacement process. We anticipate that your reprinted book will be completed and shipped to you within 2-4 weeks after placement of your order and Jostensí receipt of payment. You may cancel your order of the Plan within three business days from the date of purchase in which case you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid.
