Staying Involved

There’s more to senior year than classes
Organized activities can be a great influence on the senior experience. They offer different perspectives and the ability to learn and master a variety of skills. For some seniors, being involved in too many things can be very stressful. Be sure to strike that balance and stick to organizations that are really important.

Most families recognize the value for their seniors to get involved in the school, their place of worship, a volunteer organization, work, athletics, academic or social clubs. If you don’t know where to go, ask the school for a list of activities and volunteer opportunities. You may be amazed what a variety there is to choose from.

Your school may offer the following types of activities:

  • Art club
  • Campus Ministry
  • Colorguard
