Energy Efficiency
Jostens corporate headquarters in Minneapolis is in an ENERGY STAR United States EPA certified building. This certification is the mark of superior energy performance and identifies our building along with the most energy efficient in the nation. By opting to house our corporate headquarters in an ENERGY STAR certified building, Jostens is actively preventing the release of greenhouse gases and thereby aiding in the protection of the environment.
Recycling Paper
Totals from November 2010 to March 2012:
- 7,878 tons of waste paper recycled
- 133,923 trees saved
- 7,878 cubic yards of landfill space saved
Recycling Aluminum/Litho Plates
Totals from November 2010 to March 2012:
- 2,164 million lbs of aluminum recycled
- 3.4 million lbs of greenhouse gas reductions (equivalent to 1.5 million gallons of gasoline)

Water Stewardship
Although Jostens operations are not water usage intensive, we take great care in ensuring clean water stewardship. For instance, during the first three months of 2012, Jostens Denton, TX manufacturing facility reduced its water usage by 877,000 gallons over usage during the first three months of 2011.
