Student Winner PJ Dudley

PJ Dudley of Wake Christian Academy, NC, is a dedicated student yearbook leader who has consistently demonstrated organization, creativity and a desire to improve. He is always boosting the design quality of his pages and seeking ways to take his school yearbook to the next level. All of this, wrapped up into one creative, enigmatic and kind scholar. Dudley’s best yearbook advice? “Don’t stress at all—and communicate with your classmates. You never know how much your advice can help someone else out. At the same time, have fun.”

Adviser Winner Jen Hiltner

Jen Hiltner of Albany Area High School, MN, is a devoted, prolific yearbook adviser who has empowered her students by shifting the perception from “yearbook for the elite” to “yearbook for all.” Organizing her classroom into departments with set responsibilities, her guidance has led students to promote a positive school culture while creating products their peers want. Says Hiltner, “Every student has something amazing to offer. It’s my job to figure out what that is. And when students feel valued and empowered, they’ll work their tails off.” Hiltner credits Jostens The Harbor video and Renaissance programs for her success.
